Overview

Jake and Neha have roots in the Bay Area but wanted their day to reflect Neha’s South Indian heritage and traditions. The celebration began with a Hindu ceremony inside the rotunda of San Francisco’s iconic Palace of Fine Arts, followed by a reception at Gallery 308 — just steps from the bar where they had their first date.

Together with their planner, Nicole of Atelier Amarise, they transformed the space into Jeha Darshini — a reimagined homage to the restaurants Neha’s parents once frequented in India. Every detail was intentional: custom tablecloths, printed menus, matching uniforms for the staff, and even “receipts” handed out at the end of the night with after-party details.

The energy never wavered. The wedding parties performed choreographed Bollywood dances, their guests filled the dance floor, and in one unforgettable moment, a close friend played guitar for their first dance before seamlessly fading into “Tell Me When to Go” by E-40 — sending the room into chaos in the best possible way. As the sun set over the Golden Gate Bridge, friends and family shared heartfelt speeches, and everyone left with a portrait from their Glamour Shots-style photo booth — the perfect ending to a truly extraordinary celebration.
